Thanks everyone. My day was perfect. Due to the weather, my real world place of business was closed, so I slept all day. I literally slept for 26 hours. I desperately needed that sleep. I only woke up about 5 minutes ago. So, I guess I missed my birthday, but that's okay. My family is a little annoyed with me since it was a "milestone" birthday but, my day, my choice. We can go to dinner Tuesday night and pretend it's my birthday.

35 is considered a milestone birthday - it's halfway to 40 - and for those of us not yet to 40, or past, it's a big deal. I think moreso for women than men. (Carrie's 35th birthday episode from SATC comes to mind.)

Pretty sure that's what she meant since it is currently sitting at 34. She probably just hasn't thought to update it yet, especially since she apparently had a nap all day yesterday, lols.

As said, 35 is probably a bigger deal for women than it is for men, but it is definitely a thing for us! (My bday is on the 29th and I'll be 32, and I am already freaking out that I am that much closer to 35!)

What is "over the hill" nowadays? I find it changes a lot or people just have different opinions of which age that is. I've heard everything from 40 to 70 being called 'over the hill'!
