I'm sure that I can go back in history and find you stating that the Republicans would hold the house. Many posts

Post #121 in the Thread " Politics anyone?" You state that the House and Senate will stay about the same. But you did hedge your bet by saying it was early.

In Post #177 you state "My take is Republicans maintain control of the House".

Some have predicted a "Red wave". I think you were one of them but I don't want to take the time to go through all the threads searching for a post. If you say you never predicted a Red Wave I'll believe you.

Again, if the Democrats take control of the House AND Senate, that would be a blue wave, probably a blue tsunami, in my opinion. I don't see it happening but upsets do happen.

As for Cruz vs. O'Rourke -- all I will say is "Watch out!". Cruz margin down to 5 points in latest poll. Just outside the margin of error. I keep saying the whole election depends on voter turnout. Nationwide and in Texas.

Yes, it will come down to voters. I heard that Williamson County is breaking a record for voting. I like to see people vote. I hate when people bitch and moan about politics and they don't vote. If you want to make a difference - vote folks!!!!!

We most certainly agree on that!!

In Texas in the 18-29 year old demographic, the early voting rate is 5 times what it was in 2014. And 66% said they would vote Democratic. African-American and Hispanic early voting has more than doubled. And they vote Democratic for the most part. Voting in the traditional Republican demographics -- white and over 65 -- also up but not nearly as much as the young.

Early voting is also up considerably in some key states such as Nevada, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Arizona.

No idea who is voting for whom, but the level of interest in the usually quiet mid-term election is incredible.

Good luck in having her admit that.

It will be really fun to see how this all pans out after abortions are outlawed and all those unwanted babies you fuckwits pretend to give a shit about are reaching serious thug age.

Oh, wait...you will be dead then, won't you? So indeed why would you give a shit?

Nitwit.

Hey there Tony,

I see you're a newbie here on Eccie. Just some friendly advice. I don't know who you are calling a nitwit here but you can't call people names. This is a nice ECCIE.

Oh, I see you didn't actually reply to the content of my post. Not surprising. It's much easier to just post memes, as opposed to thinking.

Also not surprising: you are incapable of distinguishing between the socialism of, say, Canada (or any of the other G8/G20 countries) and that of the former Soviet Union.

Or what the heck: even our own "socialist" programs such as publicly funded police and fire departments.

Your post did not have any content Tony so I felt no need to reply. And I post memes because that's all some people understand.

You mean that's all YOU understand.

Content: Abortion

Content: G8/G20 economies vs. USA; "socialism"
