Regardless of Trump’s bullshit, flipping the House was the last thing he wanted to see, The People’s House will no longer be allowed (encouraged) to do nothing.

I do not like Trump one single bit. However, it took a huge amount of campaign dollars to motivate Democrats to vote and yet, Beto still lost. The Republican voters spoke too. I thought many would at minimum refrain from voting to signal their displeasure with how the current Republican government is running, allowing Cruz, who many Republicans even don't like, to lose. I know some even said they planned to vote for Orourke.

Cruz spent a fraction of Orouke's and still fended off Orourke by like 85k votes, last time I looked.

There are 15 million registered voters in Texas per the secretary of state. Only a 3rd of those voted.


YES, politicians would be wise to be more considerate of the minority party. However, the majority still seem to have a firm hold.

Look at the governor. He was one of the first races called.

Democrats may be speaking but not nearly as well as republicans.
