Most times, violation of policies, depending on the policy, includes termination. He's already been fired. I don't know if his pension is at risk. So I doubt little can be done unless there's a law involved or already stated punitive measures.

Why do you think the report would be inaccurate? Comey has already admitted memorializing confidential talks with the President and giving them to a source that had a very shaky govt position.

I don't think it would be inaccurate. if anything it probably low-balled all he could have been strung up for.

it doesn't matter what if anything happens to Comey now, the guy got fired. could he be charged? yeah, but it's small potatoes, the material he leaked was confidential that's all. not top secret. what it really shows is that Trump was justified in firing Comey, he had a legit reason and it was not obstruction. that the Mueller investigation was based on this proves it was a witch fucking hunt no matter what Yssup Rider and his ilk want to claim. Mueller knew early on there was no collusion with Russia and Comey's firing was not obstruction.

Mueller dragged it out for purely political purposes as long as he could. then dumped a nothing burger in the laps of the Democrats. they have nothing to impeach Trump on or they would have long ago. emoluments? bahahhaa! good luck with that shit. remember valued posters that the DEMOCRATS wanted Comey's head on a pike in October 2016 for re-opening the Clinton email whitewash. Comey's claim it was to protect the integrity of a potential Clinton presidency is actually right. but he had no choice anyway because the NYPD had uncovered backups of Clinton's emails on Carlos Danger's laptop during their sexting investigation. Comey couldn't let that go because it would have come out eventually. he couldn't control the NYPD and he knew it. so to protect the FBI's reputation and ironically Clinton, he re-opened the investigation. that cunt Clinton will go to her grave, soon i hope, blaming Comey, sun spots, climate change and anything else for her loss other than her.

how ironic that in part, Clinton's handpicked "hubby" Carlos Danger for her Muslim operative Huma Abedin factored in her defeat. it wasn't the only reason she lost but it is clearly the most ironic one.
