PSA tests aren't usually done until 40 unless there's a family history of prostate cancer. The issue with PSA screening is that the test is so sensitive that in some individuals it may be detecting tumors that are microscopic that may never significantly progress during the patient's lifetime, especially if they're quite elderly. Most doctors don't even bother with a PSA test in men over 75.

And PSA can be elevated in the absence of cancer in those with prostatitis, benign enlargement.

They use to manually massage and "milk" an enlarged Prostate, but now they stick you on some expensive meds, with God only knows the side effects, to reduce it.
