I might still be on ignore, but I have to put it out there: where did you hear Biden is asking for a Supreme Court Justice to the left of Ginzy and Sotomayor? Is this a poor attempt at humor?

Was it from FOX? Undoubtedly. An inculcative message? Something you just conjured up on your own?

At her age a recurring cancer tends to have a very bad outcome.

She should retire to tend to her health.

Trump should tell her the winner of the Presidential election gets to name the Justice to replace her so she can get the fuck off the SCOTUS.

I'm not quite sure how chief justice john roberts fits into your narrative of balance. That man is more dedicated to the Constitution than he is to a political party. Unlike Clarence "Uncle" Thomas. Conservatives certainly can't bank on him going the Republican route every time.

Trump really doesnt have a say in that. Hell, he is the only reason that old gray mare is still grazing. I feel sure that she will step down in January. If Biden shits the bed with his VP pick and somehow Trump miraculously pulls it off in November that old bat will be doing situps and pushups during her chemo.

He doesn't have a say but the poor old lady is clearly hanging on to spite him so with his assurance she can feel like she has saved the seat for the leftists and she can retire and die in the next few months.

RBG - likely has a recurrence of her pancratic carcinoma that metastasized to the liver, was treated and now has re-emerged (recurrence).

Long term outlook is not good - and she knows that.

What her course will be - no One can predict.

I differ with her Liberalism - if she could have she would have had the SC Rule that men must bear 50% of all babies.

Will Trump have a nomination for SC before the election - hard to know.

To close to election to get one approved. If you thinks there’s mayhem now, It will explode if Trump gets a chance to appoint her successor.

You are absolutely right about that. If Biden wins, she will retire and die within a month like Bear Bryant. I do not often agree with her opinions but I do respect that old lady's balls.

Whoever wins in November will be replacing her.. one way or another. Even if she dies tomorrow though... there will be an empty seat until then... we kept a seat empty for 293 days when we lost Scalia.

It was empty because Mitch McConnell refused to take up Merrick Garland's nomination. If RBG dies tomorrow do you honestly think that he would not use every tool in his toolbox to get that seat filled by a conservative? He knows there is a legit chance that his party loses the White House and Senate majority in November. He has more than enough time to get a nominee through with the nuclear option that some dumb and extremely shortsighted democrats gifted him in 2013.

Dumb and shortsighted are liberal trademarks.

Republicans do it too.. but nothing brings me more joy than the law of unintended consequences.
