Ark, La, Missouri, Texas are all under vaccinated. Florida is under vaccinated too. Florida is swing state in presidential elections. Kind of ironic that Trump voters don't want to get the shot when it was Trump who purchased the doses.

It begins to appear that Wuhan virus is like Influenza A, and other coronaviruses - and mutte rapidly.
Will herd immunity offer a 'cure' - beginning to seem unlikely, and vaccines now seem to help the patient clinical course - but do not prevent infection acquisition - during which the virus can be transmitted.
IMHO - the only way to control Wuhan virus tranmission is =- stamp it out as Polio and Smallpox.
That scenario begins to seem unlikely, unfortunately
your assumption that it is 'Trump voters' - who are the predominanlty un-immunized - is not accurate.
Black under privileged populations are far more likely to unimmunized. .

As of this week, 70% of the adult population in the United States have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. While this progress represents a marked achievement in vaccinations that has led to steep declines in COVID-19 cases and deaths, vaccination coverage—and the protections provided by it—remains uneven across the country. With the growing spread of the more transmissible Delta variant, cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are once again rising, largely among unvaccinated people. While White adults account for the largest share (57%) of unvaccinated adults, Black and Hispanic people remain less likely than their White counterparts to have received a vaccine, leaving them at increased risk, particularly as the variant spreads.

The sentence in your post that white adults account for the largest share (57%) of unvaccinated people backs up what I wrote in a prior post. The USA has about 330 million people. Black people only make up 12% of the USA population. Even if 2/3 of the black population were not vaccinated this would still be less that all of the white adults that are not vaccinated. What I wrote in a prior post was correct.

It looks like we are headed for a having/needing a shot every year for seasonal flu (Influenza A) and SARs CoV2.

As I've mentioned before, back in January when I got my 2nd Pfizer shot, I was told that there was a high likelihood that a booster shot would be needed at some point in time.
From day 1 of this virus hitting our shores we are continuing to learn about the COVID virus and making changes as needed. The end seemed near until the Delta variant came along. On July 7 the 7-day average of deaths due to COVID was 23. Today it is 55. Hospitals are running short of beds in many cities due to the increase in COVID patients. It will soon be determined if booster shots will help.
BTW, there is a somewhat high likelihood that I have COVID. I purchased a reliable home test kit last night and will be taking the test soon.

A vaccinated guy, who thinks he’s currently got the rona, singing the praises of the vaccine. That’s some heavy duty irony right there.

Speak for yourself. A hundred million or so won’t be included in your “we”.

Could be due to ADE(Antibody Dependent Enhancement). There could be some things wrong with this Vaccine they weren't expecting. But they don't care they'll give it out anyway.

The mRNA vaccines prevent death from SARS CoV2. They do not prevent you getting infected. 99.2 % of all deaths from CoVid are from unvaccinated people.

I am negative. Wife is positive, which is why I said I might have the virus. She is showing some minor problems -- fatigue, cough, dizziness. Yes, the unknown question is what would have happened had she not had the vaccine. Impossible to answer but your statistic makes it clear to me.
Statistics are showing the Delta variant is changing the landscape. Much more contagious. Was out shopping today for food and many more people wearing masks than just a week ago. People seem to understand.
s an aside, a 16 year old girl who is a family friend had a double lung transplant a few months ago and just contracted COVID and believes she is going to die. Please send prayers her way.
