those areas aren't impassable, but they are very dangerous and extremely difficult to travel over. they find dead bodies there.

problem in those areas is that its not practical to put a fence or wall in that those areas. so, they'll have to some other means to keep tabs on those areas via drones or live cam & heat sensors.

That is why any wall needs to go deep underground as well as above ground.. Hell if i had the power i would ditch the border, 200 meters deep, 100 meters wide, use the dirt from the ditch dug, to rampart our side up, and THEN put the wall on it..

they have equipment to detect tunnel digging.

in some of those places where you have hard rock, you'd need a jack hamer or something to grind the away the rock like a borer.

Then how do we keep hearing of new tunnels being found (mostly into CA)? If they have that sort of equipment, why isn't it being USED?

First, he said ...."I want to get rid of DACA". Everybody was appalled.

Then he said....."OK, perhaps the humanitarian thing to do is let these young people stay"......BUT.......I want iron clad immigration reform, more border agents, stricter immigration controls, AND THE WALL!

Why. Because we don't want to be faced with this problem again in years to come. A strong immigration policy must start with a secure border.

But guess what. The Dems are balking. They really do not want any change in our immigration situation. Nancy an d Chuck have made this plain. So, they have to go against the DACA Kids.

For a non polititian, President Trump is sure out politicking the "Pros".

Democrats really don't want Immigration reform. They think that just letting anyone into the country without the proper documentation is a good thing. Immigrants from Mexico and south America really don't want to be American Citizens. They just want to work here make some money for awhile then go back to their country. They just want to cross the border back and forth at will without any provisions and our Government is allowing it, and most American citizens agree. Because of our complacency in the matter of immigration, immigrants from south of the border really have no respect for America or it's flimsy immigration policies. If Trump can't do something to improve our Immigration policies it will never happen.

undetected active tunnels are hard to find with current equipment.

its being used, but its not easy to find them. the tunnels are a rough equivalent to quiet russian subs at high seas.
