I've been holding back for several hours..... In fact, my bath water almost over-flowed because I was so intertwined in this thread of yours. Then, it went cold --ha.
I have never met you, and, honestly, I always took you to be a pretentious little prick, no pun intended. More than likely, I will never see you BCD but I wanted to let you know I have now an elevated respect for you.
Here is my ? for you...well two actually: Do you feel it's possible people can change? And do you believe it's possible love can come from a socially unacceptable site like this one? ....Okay, three; have you ever fallen in love with someone you met here? ... I take that back, you ARE the ultimate player here, lol. (and don't worry, I'm not in love with you or anything). ...Make this three: How (in your vast experience) would you advice someone who really wants to make a change? (It's vague I know, but I want to hear it from a "veteran").

1) Yes people can change. The key word being "can". If they choose to do so.
2) Yes love can come from a site like this one. I feel "Love at first read" is possible but in fact it is Lust. Meaningful relationships start off as friendships and then develop into long term valuable relationships. The problem on a board like this is many people try to be who they are not. This catches up with them. Not withstanding the many who are married which can certainly complicate things.
2.1) Yes I have met some people I truly care about and a few I can say I actually love.
3) Everyone’s future is in their own hands. We have the ability to change our destiny. That change must come from within. Things are what "we" make them. You might note that people change as time goes by. Joan when you were 15, were you same person at 20? Or how about 25? Or how about 30? Living life all by its self changes you. Remember Joan, we are NOT defined by what others thinck of us especially on a board such as this.
