Are there any conservative sites on the internet? Does Google link to them? Or only Yahoo

BTW F-Sharp, don't you think that's a lot of people working to do what Wyldeman is doing so well by himself??

So if this is the as you call it your tax dollars at work then why do you want to give them more??? Hmmm interesting theory...

Thank you so much.. That means a lot coming from you...

Big question big boy - if the internet is so biased (ludicrous) then why are you using it? Wouldn't it be easier to post your opinions on bathroom walls?

Very, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it's not just me friend. If I had to take a guess, I think even your Fox News watching, Rush Limbaugh listening, Tea Party attending friends are embarrassed by your remarks at this point. At very least, they don't appear to be coming to your aid. How about a show of hands folks?

Let me tell you a little secret.... Come in so you can understand....I do not care....

I do not look stupid... In your opinion you think that my views and comments are stupid and I am sure the other couple posters on this thread are in agreement with ya. I would not speak for everyone though because you do not know that for sure...I would go as to say that is a liberal speculation on your part from your liberal conservative confused loins....

YOW...

I'll let you in on a little secret. Sometimes, ladies talk, big guy.

It was not a good week for the economy. Bad jobs report, stocks taking a beating, people hurting. If anyone besides Wyldeman wants to tell us what Obama is doing wrong there might be hope for this thread. Otherwise it's just more of the same.

How much worse would it be had TARP and the auto bailouts not occurred?

Ha! Now we're getting somewhere...and Wyldeman will be pleased to hear that this is where I part ways with Obama. Five months in office and this Republican congress has yet to present one single jobs bill? They did manage however to write a symbolic bill against healthcare, attempt to defund women's health clinics, attempted to expand and speed up offshore drilling, attempted to redefine rape in order to cut off funding for abortions, attempted to gut aviation safety legislation, attempted to halt the EPA's ability to monitor and regulate carbon emmissions, and have made every possible effort to break up unions. Why the hell isn't Obama stepping on their heads to pass the most needed type of legislation...A FREAKIN JOBS BILL?!?!?!? Better yet, why haven't they done it on their own? You'd think they'd want to at least make some fans before the next election wouldn't you?

TARP and the auto bailouts were nothing but a money making venture for all involved, and I think we'd actually be better off had some of this big banks been broken up. At least then some regulation might have been insisted on. Nothings changed with banking, and America is still building shit cars...go figure?

You did leave out one small item..the stimulus. Which happened to be mostly tax cuts did little to nothing to stimulate job creation.

Let's see:

Corporate welfare - Check!
No real regulation for banks - Check!
No public option - Check!
Bush tax cuts extended - Check!
No real reduction on defense spending - Check!
Troops are still in Afghanistan and Iraq - Check!
Unemployment still hovering around 9% - Check!
No FREAKIN JOBS BILL - Check!

I conceed to you here and now that Obama is the best moderate Republican president we've had in decades.

I never said stupid. I did say ignorant.

Unfortunately a huge number of Americans are ignorant of the facts, the circumstances surrounding our current economic, domestic and foreign policy distress and, let's be honest here, the TRUTH about any of them.

Not surprisingly, our friend here isn't the only guy who feels that way, by far, as anybody who watches ANY media knows. I met some guys at my HS reunion last year who were of similar posture. No matter what anybody said, they were sticking to their guns. But they weren't about to look up anything, consider alternatives or discuss anything other than to call the media a bunch of "liberal cocksuckers" and the president a, well, I DID go to HS in Texas! And the louder they yelled, the dumber they sounded. At least to me and about 90% of their classmates (AND SPOUSES.) I know these guys were educated, with college degrees, but they wore the "caveman" talk like a badge of honor. In fact, I'm guessing none of these guys would admit in public they went to college, or didn't serve in the military (which I know they didn't).

I'm still aghast by this, especially in 2011 ... but believe strongly that the outcry and pushback against Obama and the rise of the Pea Tarty movement were brought to you by the same folks who convinced unemployed union workers in Ohio to vote for GW Bush in 2004. (And it wasn't the politicians.) Gotta hand it to them, that conservative media is brutally effective ... even with all those hot babes on camera.

Maybe we need a thread to discuss the state of education in this country. Because if ignorance is bliss, we should be living in the hap-hap-happiest goddamned country on earth! So somewhere, someone's strategy for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness got derailed. No matter what kind of jobs bill is or isn't passed by the President and the GOP Congress, unless we revisit the way our kids are educated, K-college, and make some substantive philosophical changes in what's being taught and how, we're just going to be perpetuating a society where it's OK to be ignorant. What kind of jobs will we create for those kids?

Of course, the best thing, according to the Congress AND the State of Texas, is to slash funding for ALL of it!

Ignorance isn't necessarily stupidity. But it is treatable! And NOT treating ignorance IS stupid! IMHO, of course!

Obama is the worst Pres. ever, along with the other good intended liberal Jimmy Carter. Both of whom believed Gov't is THE answer, not the people. Report out today 54k jobs added, market down another 100 pts. Unemployment 9.1% after trillions have been spent on shovel ready projects, which Obummer admitted did not exist. The union pension funds were bailed out at out expense, takeing money out of the private sector. Obamacare actually takes money out of medicare and the liberal dems are blaming the Repubs and liberal media is reporting exactly what the WH wants. EPA is attempting to add a lizard and the Gulf seahorse to list which will shut down even more explore and drilling and cost thousands of jobs in Texas alone. Obummer is already shutting down NASA which will cost Texas thousands of other jobs. Keep on voting for liberals and we'll be like Cal. Ill, Greece, Spain and Italy-all broke.

You might consider going back and reading the previous 15 pages and revise your statement before I start my rebuttal. I'll go ahead and give you a little time for revisions.
