... I'll again state what I mentioned earlier in the season-meet.
That the Pirates got money to ADD talent.
Got a whole season in... Typical peaks and valleys... And yet-.

Prolly will finish with the season outlook - as expected
as the baseball experts surely predicted... Good for them.

Players got some much-needed experience and showed some grit.
Maybe can contend for a play-off spot next year.

The simple fact that the Pirates were not eliminated from
the play-offs UNTIL A WEEK before the finish is a modern miracle.

The Bucs win the finale game of the season. 76 wins is a 14 game improvement over last year. They played solid baseball in the second half while playing their youngsters. They’re on the right track. I would say they’re closer to winning a post season game than the Steelers or Penguins.

Look at this, the Diamondbacks beat the Phillies to advance to the WS! The Phillies have the 4rth highest payroll and the DBacks one of the lowest.

There are a few teams that never won a WS. The Pirates have won three in my lifetime. They’re close to being a playoff team. It won’t be 20yrs until they get there.
