SL I like to take a little time each day and look at the clouds and sky, just nature in general. The last few weeks have been very nice here, the sandhill cranes and ducks flying south are a great part of the day. I have noticed that the geese are flying very high and heading south as fast as they can, what is going on with that?

Ahhhhhh yes the migratory water fowl. It reminds me of a story I once heard...
The daddy duck said... "my instincts tell me to go south".
The mommy duck said..."my instincts tell me to go north".
The baby duck says... "my END STINKS but it don't talk to me!".

in short, its all in their genes. they know when its too cold for their tail, that's when they fly south.
them geese are smart I think and are on to the hunters like SL. they're flying high to avoid get shot down by hunters!
SL, since your supposed to be in Austin, TX. Maybe you can answer this one for me. Why does it seem like there are so many Providers in Texas? I understand that in some areas Folks are quite Wealthy from Oil and other sources of income. It that it? Or does it just seem that way since there are large Metropolitan areas like DFW?
