She's even claiming that she's exempt from the subpoena from congress since she's appealing her conviction to the scotus.
Mike Johnson was told to sit on this till Sept- till the temperature and the stench of shit simmers down. Ultimately- Trumps going to either pardon her, or instruct orders of clemency and in this case, thee rule says that courts “may” reduce sentences if defendants provide “substantial assistance” toward investigating or prosecuting other people, but only if that assistance involved one of three things:
(A) information not known to the defendant until one year or more after sentencing; (B) information provided by the defendant to the government within one year of sentencing, but which did not become useful to the government until more than one year after sentencing; or (C) information the usefulness of which could not reasonably have been anticipated by the defendant until more than one year after sentencing and which was promptly provided to the government after its usefulness was reasonably apparent to the defendant.
IE; pretty doubtful that she's gonna know more about crimes committed after she was sentenced; unless someone tells her something- (Blanche or Markus) that she wasn't privvy to prior, and now seems cooperative. That's about the only way she's gonna get clemency and it's gonna take a LOT of wrangling for that to suddenly become available. Imagine the investigations into all this should that happen
Trump surely wants this to all go simply away- it does it the most easily if she gets a pardon- and that's what I would predict.
If for no other reason- Trump will say it's making it difficult to do his job- and it's not cause she's innocent, but that she has no knowledge of bad acts and her conviction was unjust in his opinion.
Ahhhh the Epstein Island & the Social Circle of Trump:
A future movie that will be made- and hopefully it includes 3 or more obituaries in it as well including Epsteins, I'm betting the body county could get higher before it's all said and done.
