I am strictly a Blackjack and Craps player. I don't play poker. On a large contract, IBM would put their best team on it. They would certainly do better than this team from CGI. IBM has scored some large consulting contracts over the years.

We quit in the mid to late 80's. Overpriced, underperformed, and inflexible. We ended up building a system for a small business that provided stand alone systems that were able to share data at roughly 40% of the cost that allowed for the flexibility of 90% of the system continuing to work and be productive if 10% went down, and we wrote the menu system in DOS to provide for the unwary and inexperienced to access the system without having to learn DOS. Several times on unit would crash, but the remainder of the staff was productive until the one unit was brought back on line or replaced.

We were also able to use Microsoft Word for word processing as well as other Microsoft software to build a billing and accounting system as opposed to the IBM standard of the cumbersome and less "user friendly" of WordPerfect (which came in IBM machines).

IBM was like AT&T. Struggling to maintain a monopoly and dependence with businesses.

If there is ever a "serious, independent investigation" into the current fiasco I suspect it will be permeated with: contributions to Obaminable's campaigns, union interference, and heavy on internal "administrative costs" to keep the company "in business" ..... just like many of the other "investments" of this administration when the smoke cleared.

Dear fuckheads,

Imreceived by mail today my "welcome" letter from my new BCBS plan. In a separate packet, I received my explanation of benefits and other info regarding my plan.

ID cards on the way.

Oh yeah, Texas refused to start its own exchange, so contrary to idiotic belief, I bought it through the national marketplace.

FUCK YOU AND YOUR CRAZY TEA SWILLING BULLSHIT!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

For those Dimtards with bad short term memories, the pharmaceutical companies, the doctors and the insurance companies dealt behind closed doors with the Obama administration. The medical device companies didn't. Guess which industry gets taxed?
I have no doubt they will have to do something. But, from the mumblings I am hearing they do not have the time to wait for any elections. They appear to be in full blown panic and crisis mode due to the ratio of high risk poolers and sick people signing up with virtually no young and healthy signing up. Even though we don't know the numbers or people's healthcare information, they do. Take note of the major insurance execs and their lobbyists showing up at the hill today to "discuss" the Obamacare disaster. I suspect in the very near future, and as a result of this meeting, you will start hearing a little more about it being a requirement for the young and healthy to sign up and reminders of penalties if they don't.

Not until after 2014 elections will any such amendment be considered. A primary issue will be "age" discrimination .. and the legislation will have to be crafted to appear to have some specific underlying reason to justify the disparate treatment to pass the smell test, besides revenue generating motivations.

The "penalty" is not high enough to compel folks to buy insurance who are not otherwise inclined to do so..... on individuals or businesses. And IMO they can't raise it high enough and survive the political fall out.

Hmmmm, no. The insurance companies are, though. The context of the statement was in regard to insurance execs being in panic mode, hence, the meeting today.

We are seeing, if you take off the rose colored shades. You think the "execs" were there to discuss computer programming?

You will that's for damn sure, but you won't give it up on the board and admit it. EVER.

Most folks who have been defrauded don't want others to know how dumb they were.

You are no exception... the only way you think you can look better than others is to talk down to them and ridicule them ... with your childish name calling. That doesn't fit admitting you fucked up on the insurance business ... got fooled into thinking you were covered. The sad part is you won't be the only one. Your family!

The evidence I see shows some dems in congress and the senate bailing on Obama, Obamacare, and Sibelius. I haven't heard of one repub or tea party member change their stance and say they now support Obamacare.
