This one is random too but im curious as to anyone being as much of a moviebuff/nerd as much as I am,lol Does anyone know Cynthia Nixons(Sex and the Citys' Miranda)' first role?
I love movie trivia too... we should play 6 Degrees of Movie Separation, or Movie Title Charades when we all get together.

Jack Nicholson's first movie role (1958). Read his Wikipedia.. very interesting

IMO Beyonce as the worst acting in the movie,Columbus Short was great as Little Walter

I'm a dingbat! That's why our teacher used to tell us when taking the TAAS test, don't pick up your pencil until you read the question completely

Tarantino is one of the directors who has people appear in different or virtually all his movies

Another is Rob Zombie who had nearly the whole cast from

come back in

I just watched The Killer Inside Me. That movie has some scenes that are tough to watch man.

I'm a race fan, so Grand Prix, The Longest Day, and The Sound of Music.

I guess there is a huge difference between favorite movies and best movies. Citizen Kane is still the greatest movie of all time and one of my favorites. For action I like John Woo's early ones, Hard Boiled and The Killer. For romance the French classic, A Man and A Woman.

My favorite movie was Kubrick's "Lolita."

I'm what you might call a movie freak. I go to at least two movies a week, sometimes 3. My heart was broken last Sunday when Angelika shut their doors.

I like to joke with my friends that the reason I moved downtown this past Spring was so my drive to the theater would be shorter.

I'm not one of those people who researches the movie either, many of them I didn't even know the actors, language or story behind a movie. I just walk up and look at the marquis and pick on the spot sometimes. I just like going to the movies.

Whereas my best friend has to read all the reviews and research every movie. He treats the experience as though the movie has to advance him forward in life somehow.

I think it all started when I was about 6 and my dad and I would stop at the El Capitan theater in Pasadena when he would pick me up for our weekend visits. It seemed every Friday I was at the theater.

So to this day, I use going to the movies as an escape.

Everyone set your Netflix for this October when the Human Centipede becomes available on DVD

Downloaded it yesterday. Guess I'll watch it tonight/this morning. Is it like a horror movie or just graphic?
