Well, yes, of course. But the premise was that women are "sex slaves" because they choose to educate themselves in fields that don't pay money. The suggestion was that people should go to school and learn marketable skills like carpentry or welding, but women choose to study fashion design or art and then can't make a living.

Yeah, if you want to be a welder or a carpenter, go to a trade school or apprenticeship program and study welding or carpentry. But a degree in history teaches you so much more than just history. I took my history degree to Andersen Consulting (now called Accenture), helped create a data mining and archiving system, and had Fortune 500 companies calling me for advice every day.

I totally get it. I was just seeing it through my lens which is of someone who has a very marketable degree and guaranteed career. I choose to live in the lifestyle and play in the hobby because...uhmmm it pretty much rocks compared to other ways to spend my days. It feeds my insatiable appetite for erotic adventure. Once I crossed a certain line, i just wanted to live in vanilla land as little as possible.
Mine is a journey in naughtiness, perhaps a little addiction to power and control, but not necessity.
