One would think you two political brainiacs would have known that. Maybe yall still think this forum is a right wing circle jerk where your nonsense will go unchallenged. Jesus I should charge you two for the lessons.

Now wait one second here. I'm definitely libertarian leaning and I don't want a left leaning progressive telling me I can't have my cigarette and big gulp...You have continually shown that the primary social issue you seem to deem worthy of argument is abortion. The left leaning progressives want to control your life from the social issues just as much as the right does, just in different ways.

I think you should be able to smoke and drink as you see fit. Speaking of fit...I have trouble paying for your self induced lung cancer with Medicare.
So I think folks should have choice...smoke. But pay for your medical cost related with that. Eat/drink what you want but pay for obesity related to a unhealthy lifestyle. Don't have others pay for your poor choices.
See , that imho is a true libertarian view

I thought you folks want the "medicare for all?" Now you are making conditions on health care? Suppose someone wants an abortion and smokes? I bet you wouldn't have a problem with that. Can you say "hypocrite?"

I could say hypocrite but I think you're just lying or have no clue as to wtf I think.
We already have Medicare for all....it just is expensive as fuck when uninsured folks have to wait to get sick enough for the ER.
But my guess is you have no clue with how fucked up our medical system is.

Neither do you. We don’t have Medicare for ALL. I don’t have it. I pay for private insurance. 180 million Americans have HC insurance thru their employer. Which is private insurance. Not Medicare.

Reagan signed into law basically healthcare for all...or Emergency Room care for all.
If you have any trouble understanding anything in there just ask....bambino is our resident prostrate expert.

LBJ, 1965. And you don’t know we don’t have Medicare for ALL. But vote for Bernie! Nice try to deflect from your lie. But in your case, it was ignorance.

Why am I not suprised you are wrong?
Anybody can go to the ER...it is paid for out of Medicare. Reagan signed it into law.

It is paid out of Medicaid. So we don’t have MEDICARE for all. Why am I not suprised that you are clueless? Try again.

Even if you were correct....and you are not. It still would be a government funded program for people that wait for their condition to get to ER status.
EMTALA applies to "participating hospitals." The statute defines participating hospitals as those that accept payment from the Department of Health and Human Services, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) under the Medicare program.[2]

You are wrong. Indigent care is paid from Medicaid. Just because you go to an ER they don’t have to treat everything. You can be denied treatment. You can also be billed or sent to collections. You said we already have MEDICARE FOR ALL. That’s an abject lie. We don’t have Medicaid for ALL either.. You have to qualify for Medicaid. So, you are wrong. Dead wrong.
