If PolitiFact is not your cup of tea, you might want to check out FactCheck. Apparently, they do not have a favorable opinion of Jerome Corsi's investigative and journalistic skills either! A sample quote from FactCheck.org follows:

"Corsi cites opinion columns and unsourced, anonymous blogs as if they were evidence of factual claims. Where he does cite legitimate news sources, he frequently distorts the facts. In some cases, Corsi simply ignores readily accessible information when it conflicts with his arguments."

FactCheck's final analysis of Corsi's investigative and journalistic skills:

"In Corsi's case, we judge that both his reputation and his latest book fall short when measured by the standards of good scholarship, or even of mediocre journalism."

Does anyone other than me see a trend developing?

One thing I have noticed just recently is that the liberals yell and belly ache more than conservatives. There are more liberals attacking conservatives on this site than conservatives speaking out. The same holds true in the real world. Conservatives tend to take the high road more often than those with liberal views.

As evidenced by the 20 or so times you have been guilty of belly achin' in this thread alone, you must be a friggin' "liberal!"

If you were the comedic creation of someone like Stephen Colbert, everyone would think it genius. It took me a long time to get the joke but now that I do, I think it's some of the funniest stuff on the internet. Please keep posting.

Many of your "short to the point statements of common sense conservative views" are based on incorrect analysis and/or "facts" that you include no links to and there are numerous links that prove otherwise.
When you add the concerns of other conservatives who, in their eyes are not represented by you, debate the issues based on their research ability, their ability to reason, and yes, their common sense, they will have no sympathy for you or support your claim.

How exactly do you find that my statements have been incorrect? I like how you always resort to claiming that my facts are not true because I do not post links to sites that report this information. This is so easy to understand if you just would open your eyes to what is happening right in front of you. Just because you post a link up of a site that supports your claims doesn't make it true. I happen to live in reality and do not buy the garbage that is put out by the main stream media. Obama has passed legislation for a very expensive health care reform to the tax payers. Obama did implement a very costly stimulus package that did virtually nothing. How do I support that claim? The democrats keep on saying that they have saved jobs. You can not in any way shape form or fashion prove that you have saved jobs. The only thing you can do is show job loss and job gains. Gas prices have almost doubled since he took office. He made claim that he would help us out when he was running for office. Then Obama makes a statement saying that gas will go up and that Americans need to just get used to it and get a more fuel efficient car. Yes Bush did spend a lot of money and I did not agree with that either. Obama has passed a lot of new legislation with a healthy price tag. I should not have to post any links to prove it this is common information that you all should know. I would think that liberals like yourselves would really like that he is spending money. That is the old war cry of the democrats tax and spend. I do not think that more government spending is the answer for our problems. If you like the way our government runs things just take a long hard look at the USPS system. When our postal systems was independently run it actually made money and the price of stamps stayed the same. Since the government took it back over it has lost money and we have seen a steady increase in the cost of postage stamps.

I do not expect you to understand this or be able to comprehend this either. I do expect you to attack and ridicule this information.

Thank you very little.

Now who can argue with that? Again.

Actually, each of those points, have been discussed, debated, sourced and resourced... by everyone but you.

Posters in this thread have done their homework. You haven't, but rather than do so, you attack those of us who have.

Let's just examine some of the claims you've made (many for the second time) in this post:

Obama has passed a lot of new legislation with a healthy price tag. Last time I looked the Republicans were in charge of the House of Representatives and had enough seats in the Senate to block legislation there. So, I guess the President might have had some help with the legislation AND the healthy price tag. Strike 1.

If you like the way our government runs things just take a long hard look at the USPS system. When our postal systems was independently run it actually made money and the price of stamps stayed the same. Since the government took it back over it has lost money and we have seen a steady increase in the cost of postage stamps. YOU USE POSTAGE STAMPS? I remember a 3-cent first class stamp. Eisenhower was president. Since then, the cost of a first class stamp has risen steadily. Do you know how many people DON'T use stamps nowadays? In a study done in 2010 by First Advantage Bank, about 80% of ALL U.S. homes with internet access paid at least one bill online. I pay about 75% of my bills online. You suppose that with fewer users, the price of stamps might just go up? Strike 2!

I should not have to post any links to prove it this is common information that you all should know. Sure! And when someone else posts links supporting his/her opinion, you discount it as "mainstream media" or "liberal press" or something else. Deft deflection dere dude! Strike 3!

I do not expect you to understand this or be able to comprehend this either. I don't think any of us either understand or comprehend (or both) this. I know I neither understand nor comprehend it.

I do expect you to attack and ridicule this information. No need to ridicule your information. But it's not approaching factual "information." It's strictly your opinion. Your entirely entitled to it, by the way, and I'll fight to the death to preserve your right to say it. Several of the posters in this thread have, in fact, done so, myself included. Back your opinion up with some fact and it becomes a debate. It isn't right now.

I recall a UH Professor making our class aware of something that she considered to be a pet peeve. It went something like this:

If I want an opinion, I'll ask. Beyond that I have three basic rules.

1) Document your findings!
2) Document your findings!
3) Document your findings!

As for me, I clearly understood the request!
