Many more of them should have been killed. An attack on the capitol is unacceptable. And the capitol police have shot people for less. Several years back a woman was shot in her car for supposedly trying to ram a barricade. But since she wasn’t a right wing nut job it was ok.

Many more of them should have been killed? You don’t really believe that. We’re the United States of America, not some police state or banana republic. The capitol police did an admirable job on January 6.

Protest are one of the hardest incidents for Police to mitigate. There are large numbers of people and emotions are running high and violence is always inevitable on both sides. Capital Police had one main objective and that was to prevent a breach of security, that objective wasn't met. Whether it was because they were out numbered, unprepared or lacked training for such an incident is immaterial. The performance of the Capital Police leaves a lot to be desired. This country has become so politically polarized that an incident like the January 6th protest could easily happen again. Police are often out numbered during any type of protest and there are groups that have formed that can become violent and if Police don't have a plan to thwart that violence things can go south very fast.

If their job was to keep protesters out, opening the doors and guiding them in probably wasn’t an ideal way of doing it.

Yeah, there was some questionable videos circulating around. Makes ya wonder what their objective really was.

Yes all are entitled to an opinion no matter how condescending, I suppose.

Grace however made an observation, which is a tad different than her opinion.

An observation would be say that you are cooking burgers. An opinion is how they taste.

There were some officers that were sympathetic to the protesters...those that ushered any in should be fired.

Those that fired to stop the onslaught shoud be awarded medals.

Of course anything is possible but I don't think an incident like this would ever happen again because it's no longer an abstract idea where you don't know the results of the action.

Now it is clear or should be at least, that there was no pre-planning on how they would hold their "captured ground" and the penalties that will surely result in such folly. Now if these were committed Jihadist that didn't care whether they lived or died, that would be a different story but these were just emotionally stunted idiots who obviously never thought this through.

Naw, another attack like that, at the same place, never going to happen, but BLM and Antifa attacks on federal buildings and assaults on police officers, well, that's a whole different story which will be overlooked as the last riots have been over looked

Just an opinion.

And yeah, when law enforcement is un-prepared or simply unwilling to re-act as they did in major cities all last summer, things will go south very fast.

To bad when all those Mayors' said violence will not be tolerated, didn't mean it and had no plan to stop what they said they would not allow.

It is obvious to any with half a brain that these numbnuts were sent down by Trump to disrupt the transfer of power.

They were just Pawns in Trump's World of lies and distortions.

Trump, Rudy, Sydney and a few others should be locked up.

I absolutely believe that. Attacking the Capitol is exactly what people in banana republics do. The only reason this is even an argument is because these are folks on the right. No differently that when they show up with guns at state capitals. Restraint is only ever even discussed when it’s folks on the right being antidemocratic. So yeah, more of them should have been shot and they should have never been allowed to breach the doors and windows.

Conveniently ignoring teh OBLM and antifa - terrorist arms of teh DPST party - Attacks - regularly and repeatedly - on Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, DC and many other cities under DPST run apologists for " mostly peaceful protests'

Another DPST knowing Lie of Xinn and the LSM. -

to NM - "Our Democracy" - reflects the murderous Communist barbarism of the DPST Hero - Che' - a mass murderer and psychopath dearly beloved by Marxist racists of teh DPST party!

I think 1BM1 got sucked into a black hole and spit out the other side directly into Bizarro World.
