I beg to disagree. You listen to the Covid experts and there's a lot about Trump they criticize. But they'll also tell you he did a good job in pushing to develop a vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine wasn't a part of operation Warp Speed, which has received praise, but I believe we have prepaid for 100 million doses of Pfizer's product. Or at least that's what someone said today at lunch. If Trump had put the same resources into testing, tracing, masks and providing resources to enable people to isolate, he probably wouldn't be a lame duck. Oh yeah, and maybe muzzled his mouth and his Twitter account.

You don't think the drug manufacturers want to get it done? What I am saying is physically Trump has Zero to do with the development of a vaccine. It happens at the speed of Science. Any President would push for one to get done. Trump isn't anything special in that regard. You think Biden, if was president, would say whoa let's wait on that vaccine development? Take your time on that the death rate is ok...

Pfizer's vaccine was indeed part of Warp Speed. The company eschewed any R&D money but they signed a manufacturing contract back in July. They will receive $1.95 billion upon delivery of the first 100 million doses.

OMG does this mean we have to give trump credit for doing something right? Damn straight you do!

The makeup of the Senate for 2021 has not been determined yet. If the democrats win both run off elections in Jan for the two senate seats in Georgia the senate will be tied and Harris would break any ties.

Tiny was 50% correct the progress that Pfizer has made with phase three testing was NOT a part of Operation Warp Speed. Pfizer did not take any money for R&D. The 1.95 billion that Pfizer will get is for production only. Nice try lustylady boy, but no cigar.

I agree. Sunday on 60 Minutes General Gus Perna, head of Operation Warp Speed, was on. Very impressive how he is planning on getting the vaccine out to 300 million people in this country by next spring. Trump got this right.
