Default How is Texas Supposed to Stay Red, When the Republicans Keep Quitting?

https://www.cnn.com/2019/09/30/polit...can/index.html

6 Republicans to date, throwing in the towel.. is this the Trump way or the highway? or did Trump dampen their enthusiasm for government service?

better watch the Democrats.. at this rate, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston, may pull enough votes to crown Elizabeth Warren next year.

Well, you voted for Trump. At least Texas has that going for them.

if there's one thing true about dims...

its that they are greedy, self-interested, vote for their own benefit sorts

so despite everything, a goodly number of them that reside in texas may decide that the meretricious warren is too much a risk and that her siren's song of paradise is made of post-coital sourness and great remorse

Trump will probably call Narendra Damodardas Modi to get dirt on Warren.....he has heard that she is Indian.

Simply use paint.
It is that easy.

Clint Eastwood's "High Plains Drifter" movie comes to mind. That fits for multiple reasons

One by one, Texas Republicans are deciding they either don't want to be in the minority party for another two years, are sick of answering for our President, or cannot win reelection.

"Texas's 13th congressional district is considered a safe Republican seat: In 2018, Thornberry won reelection by nearly 65 points"

call me when a Democrat wins the district.

Yeah, The Obama reign of terror for Dems was horrific.

Start of 2009 they had everything. Obama about to be sworn in as POTUS, The House, The Senate, A majority of Governorships, A majority of State Houses, a majority of State Senates, a majority of lower State officials, even a majority of local dog catchers.

It was the end of the Republicans then if I can remember.

Fast forward to the start of 2017, and well everything had completely turned and in a spectacular fashion with the 2010 shellacking of the Dems.

A little bit of swing back is to be expected. This has been going on for decades with the Dems. It's the end as we know it for Republicans at every turn.

If the Democrats win Texas then we are truly fucked as a country. The Democrats tend to create shitholes.

I've decided to move to Costa Rica anyway - more my kind of place.
