Default Mona Lisa Hotel.... SJO

Anyone have an recent intel on this "new" hotel. Understand providers from other venues are being discouraged from going there, although the hotel is chica friendly.

I was in SJ for the superbowl parties and went to the ML pre-opening and the grand opening. There were lots of Ticas at the ML on both nights, however I also heard that they were being discouraged by Del Rey management from working the ML. Given that the Del is overflowing with eager Ticas (outnumber guys), the ladies will go where they can find work in spite of threats.
I'm planning on going down again in March. If I understand, I need to avoid being there from the 24th through the 31st of March, right? If I go from the 12th to the 18th, I will avoid the Samana Santa effect and find al the Tica venues open and doing business, right?
Let me know if you can, thanks.

Buzz thnaks for your feedback on the ML.Will be down there from the 7th-14th, so will not be affected by SS. It's my understanding that you will be hard pressed to find many Ticas, if any, action.

Have heard of the pressure being applied so that the girls stay away from the ML, but just like anything else, the market will dicate the final outcome.

I was there yesterday to see how they are coming along. I live here so I know many of the staff personally. George, Tommy and Guy are doing a wonderful job. The hotel has a lot of visitors and the casino is hopping. 2 other gringo friends and I had a late lunch there. I had the club and it was great, along with fries. We went to the bar to have a couple of drinks and there was Shirley (use to bar tend for many years at the Sportsman Lodge) working at the bar. Same ole Shirley. There were more ladies of the night, in there than I had expected. Lots of variety. If you are ever in San Jose, go by and check them out.

Was there last Saturday for lunch,as well as a tour of the hotel, very nice, unfortunetly didn't get the chance to return at night. During lunch the place was dead, two bartenders, one with a big tatoo on her back, and another cutie. Will have tomake it a point to visit on my next trip. I ordered the club as well. Take care

Just realized who you are, you picked us up in SJO and and took us back on Thursday.

Mona Lisa is definitely giving the Del Rey and Sportsmens Lodge some competition with their 50 room hotel in San Jose. It was formerly a franchise hotel, and reopened early this year. Check out the photos of the girls I upload in the Photo Gallery-Central & South America.

Default Mona Lisa update

Keyser. There's no new intel. It's all the same. Rooms are $69 for a standard room and $99 for a Deluxe Suite. No nearly as many women around the bar as in the Rey but there are a few and the ladies are not as aggressive. I haven't seen anyone discouraging people from staying there. Because it is the slower than normal season, everyone is being very aggressive in creating ways of filling their rooms. Now is the time to come to Costa Rica. The M.L. is a great place to stay. Good Restaurant, clean modern hotel, casino, poker room and chica friendly. I think all of the places in the gulch are great. HLH, Sprortsman Lodge, Amistad and the Dunn Inn are all frequented by many of my clients.
