I'm not trying to sound like a b*%$@ here, but 1 of the many reasons I never cared to provide a contact number in my ad is because I might get 3-10 texts from someone interested. but if you don't offer your handle, I skip over it. considering it among my time wasters. if you're not interested in being courteous enough to give me your name, allowing your screening time to be as quick as possible , I'm not interested in telling you rates, specials or available days/times. so don't you think you're special, I just add your number to the "no-no" list.....

Excellent idea, Sword. There are several ladies I know that handle it that way.... phone number only given out once a gent is screened.

The main issues Mami brings to her post is, IMO, shared by many men and women here alike - and that boils down to "communication preferences".

The reality of it is the ladies all have a preferred method and means of communication and, for the most part, us gents want to follow it.

The largest challenge I have seen in this issue is that, for the most part, we gents have no clue what a lady's preferences are, as they are not as clearly outlined as we need.

(A lady outlining her communication preferences still does not stop some gents from ignoring them, but at that point, the gent truly has no excuse for not following them)

Mami, I am sure after your post, you will get a lot fewer ECCIE gents texting you.

As for me, If I know the expectations, I will do my best to follow them.
