Default Local LE and ROT Rally
What does the local LE tend to do for the ROT Rally weekend?

1) Spend extra time harassing hobbyists to make a show of Austin being a "clean" city.
2) Spend less time harassing hobbyists to make the out of town cash cows feel more welcome.
3) Concentrate their efforts on security and real ROT related problems.
4) Harass the hobbyists because it's easier safer than dealing with real ROT related problems.

What about other big events? I know they do make noise about "cleaning up things" on some more "prestigious" events.

Most likely with great suspicion. Especially since more than half of the APD street force probably weren't even born yet when that film was released.

I would say number 3, they have so many other issues dealing with drunk drivers, and keeping the peace during ROT the last thing on there mind in busting hard dicks, its no refusal weekend, be careful out there, already one motorcycle fatality..

thats why I rarely do a flyover, I am scared of those when I am on my bike,, one mistake and over the edge you go...

If you are stupid enough to be drunk and driving a bike this weekend with all the traffic, I hope you DO get the fuck arrested...am heading out that way a bit later (last night without the bike, tonight with) and I might have a couple beers...

I will be out and drunk tomorrow till next friday (party week) but not on a bike. I usually stop drinking at least 3 hours before I head home though as I do not like the idea of getting a dui or doing any harm.................with my car that is. My wonder wand will be trying to reak all kinds of havoc.

Also I think LE is more concerned about protecting the money they will make off all those bikers in PI's and DWI's. I think they have their hands full with the bikers. Again be safe yall!
