I'm betting that a lot of G men get a nice envelope or 'gift' from news orgs and are not gonna let those relationships die without having another backdoor to get the information relationship to stay in place.

Face it- leakers keep government honest and interesting. If you color outside the lines or get out of your lane- thats' really the only way america knows that you're acting out. I for one, want to see EVEN MORE transparency on internal actions within our government- especially with the accusations of weaponization of politics lately. (take your pick as to when it started)
