I’ve only been once and was offered VIP, but didn’t have the funds or the time. I believe it’s to the left of the stages(behind a curtain), next to where they do the lap dances.

I can guess what happened based on the comments. lkng4funx is right, there’s a curtain and I’ve been in VIP 2, for some goods once. YMMV depending on the dancer and how busy it is. Surprisingly, on busier nights is when I suspect I get the most value.
