Vivaldi browser - for the hobbiest
installed it, looks "Meh" before you can use some of the features you have to create an account on Vivaldi.net - one of those features is proton VPN.
more later

Using a different browser just for hobbying? Why?
Besides, the way things are going in the current political climate, sites like this and others will get shut down sooner or later anyway, so a VPN won't help much.

Same reason I use a different email address for hobby related things.
Why have your hobby / porn site bookmarks mingled in with your normal stuff.
Plus, as an added bonus I can install it as a "Portable app" aka it is 100% installed on a USB thumb drive that I can take from PC to PC.
The harder it is to find any evidence of things the more likely people give up.
With USB thumb drives getting into 1Tb & bigger with access speeds they have, why NOT have it on a USB drive?

more update.... Vivaldi is nice but feels alien to most.
it is based on Chromium. so those extensions will work on it but I am thinking not worth the hassle.

Yes and no:
I googled "is Chromium the same as Chrome"
Answer:
"No, Chromium and Chrome are not the same; Chrome is a proprietary Google product built on top of the open-source Chromium project. Chromium provides the core browser framework for Chrome and other browsers like Microsoft Edge, while Chrome adds proprietary components, automatic updates, built-in media codecs, and features like syncing with a Google account.
Chromium"
Comodo Dragon browser is also based off Chromium & looks a LOT like Chrome

I just use an entirely separate user account on my computer for everything porn/hobby related. That way I can maintain my files, bookmarks, history, logins, etc but it's still totally separated from my regular life. It's much safer too, since its pretty impossible for the 2 to mix, given that they are different accounts.
