Is that because of the new Felony law?

If so, it seems safer to go from Indies to AMPs and sub-AMPs. Prices are not discussed, at least not until it's too late to make a case against you.

I’ve been thinking the same thing about subamps. Seems like we’ll just move to an environment where negotiating doesn’t happen. You go in for a massage and you tip at the end. What gets massaged and how is up to the massage provider.

Sooo... are any of you guys going to test the law to see how the courts deal with it? To the tune of thousands of dollars? And perhaps incarceration while it's being sorted out?

You may eventually win your case months later, but your life could be fucked up for a long time.

If there is contact with genital's and money paid they have a good case against you. If the tip is as much as the massage price good luck finding a jury that believes your $60 tip is normal for a $60 massage

Chung, I dunno; nothing truly feels safe at the moment, but the Indy's I know and who live in a private place seem like they're less likely to get walked in on by the pleasure police than our lovely sub-AMP providers, who work in a place with an open front door and an "OPEN" sign. Maybe the sub-AMPs'll start doing appointment only?

I think Texas flipped a "crazy switch" between the end of last year and this one, and have enacted all sorts of retrograde morality legislation. Sad.

I have been reading a lot of these posts. I think I will give this new Texas dumb ass congress bitch law the middle finger and vacation in Thailand. I think all of us legitimate mongers aught to retire there, it's pretty cheap to live and play. I did some research, If you hobby, pay rent, food, beer, insurance, gas, utilities, retirement visa, and cable/internet, your cost will be around $2100 month.
In fact this whole country is going down the crapper, I have been in the AMP hobby for 23 years and I think I have seen the end of good clean fun.
Just my 2 penny's worth.

I agree with (the Banned) Chung Tran.

Amps/sub-amps are a much safer way to hobby
than meeting an indie.

Money in exchange for sexual contact. You will have to convince the jury that the $$ are for something else...will they believe you? Would you believe you? How many thousands of $$ will it cost to get your day in court...after months of being the accused.

Unless you are in the process of fucking
a provider when the police bust thru the door
they cant prove anything.
And even then the girl must confess to the
police that she took money for sexual favors.

I've heard many stories of amp raids online
and know 2 guys in San Antonio that were actually
on the massage table when the police raided the amp.

When the raid happens, the police go after the mamasan
and owner then shut down the amp.
Sometimes an undercover officer will pose as a client
and bust the massage girl as a first step.

When a amp is raided, the monger on the table is forced
to get dressed and leave without a refund no matter
how much service he got.

I havent heard of one story where a monger on the
table at an amp/sub-amp/spa was arrested for
prostitution.
