Default San Antonio Spurs 2015-2016

You all ready for this!?

Spurs journey for Six starts tonight!

http://www.nba.com/spurs/?tmd=1

So far roster is looking killer for this season.

http://www.nba.com/spurs/roster

I think Steve Kerr is right when he says,

''“You look at what San Antonio did getting Aldridge,”
“I mean if they don’t win the whole thing next year it’s clearly the coach’s fault. I mean if Pop can’t win the whole thing with that roster then he has no business coaching in this league.”

Question is, can they do it??

Hilarious post by Kerr. If they can remain uninjured...

Lol, yeah...I had a good laugh at that one too.

Parker has been working hard at hopefully remaining injury free this year. Recent article on ESPN with interview. Good read...

What FootLong said - Get homecourt advantage and be healthy and the rest will take care of itself.

Gotta love Kerr's play at "Pop-isms"

Long time season ticket holder here but I've grown tired of pop. I think ANY coach that would have finally brought the franchise their first championship was naturally going to walk on water in this town - and I think it's gone to his head. Folks criticize Phil jackson for riding the coat-tails of MJ and Kobe for titles' well, pop is doing the same thing with Duncan.

Winning it all in 2014 actually gave me some hope for the future but losing the final game of the season to the Pelicans(?) last year, handing them a playoff spot and putting the team in the position of having to win 4 playoff rounds on the road to finally get their repeat left only one man to blame - pop. Hell the only reason we probably won it all in '14 was because becky hammond brought in a new pair of eyes and a breath of fresh air to the coaching staff.

Still, looking at the current roster, you gotta like their chances - and I do.

Injuries or rather the lack of will be the key, as has already been pointed out.

Agree loss to Pelicans, doomed them with the, with the match ups in the playoffs.Golden State was in the zone and they were not going to be denied.

As for Pop,who would you purpose to replace him.

If anyone replaces Pop, I would hope Avery Johnson steps in.

The years have caught up with them. This is their last best shot for some time.

So we will see if they Spurs can pull out their first preseason win Tonight against the Miami Heat after having almost pulled one out in Sacramento. Wondering if the old guys will be making the trip this time to South Beach.

Wish this stuff was televised!

Just saw the box score and realized how many players played in tonight's game. Lol. Despite a loss (just preseason), Aldridge looked good as did a number of starters. Even Timmy.
