LOL... it has all the trappings of Religion and zealotry. It requires faith in an unknowable question... "What created the Universe?" no less than Christianity requires Faith that a man rose from the dead because he was the Son of God.

Your whole argument is bullshit. Your first three exhibits are just stupid pictures that prove nothing. The last one is weak. You think small time. Lifting the sanctions was a public and strategic economic move.

Think big. I'm talking about major geopolitical, and surreptitious, alliances. Your feckless leader (If not him, who?) is just a retarded Reagan. And Ronnie was already himself retarded.

Bullshit. Yeah, right. Try to convince someone else, or keep fooling yourself, that Putin didn't have plans to use his puppet dumpster-fire-of-a-president to gain more territory and resources.

Trump Pushed CIA to Give Intelligence to Kremlin, While Taking No Action Against Russia Arming Taliban

https://www.justsecurity.org/71279/t...rming-taliban/

Quote:
Three dimensions of Trump’s response are described in detail in this article, based on interviews with several former Trump administration officials who spoke to Just Security on the record.

First, President Trump decided not to confront Putin about supplying arms to the terrorist group. Second, during the very times in which U.S. military officials publicly raised concerns about the program’s threat to U.S. forces, Trump undercut them. He embraced Putin, overtly and repeatedly, including at the historic summit in Helsinki. Third, behind the scenes, Trump directed the CIA to share intelligence information on counterterrorism with the Kremlin despite no discernible reward, former intelligence officials who served in the Trump administration told Just Security.

Bipartisan legislation in the Senate, co-sponsored by Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) and Sen. Robert Menendez, (D-NJ) and passed by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in December, would place pressure on the State Department to designate Russia a state sponsor of terrorism. Politico reported, in the wake of revelations about Russia’s bounty operation, that Gardner has renewed his push for the legislation with Sen. Thom Tillis (R-NC) voicing support in recent days.

Putin tries to amplify GOP efforts to whitewash the deadly Capitol attack, saying the insurrectionists weren't 'just a crowd of robbers and rioters'

https://www.businessinsider.com/puti...ack-2021-6?amp

Quote:
Putin's remarks came just days after Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that the insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol were facing "persecution" by the US government. Over 500 people have been arrested and charged with crimes over the riot.

Both Putin's and Lavrov's comments play off of a Republican effort to whitewash the events of January 6 as the GOP continues to amplify and enable Trump's "big lie" that sparked the violence.

Back on topic...

Joey Bibs has double dog dared the Taliban to be on their best behavior while we pull our troops out. Stick a fatwa in their eye. I saw rows and rows of US armored vehicle just ready for Ackmed to drive off the lot. I wonder if they get a free sets of glasses with the purchase of an M1A1 Abrams? Who am I kidding? Why weren't these vehicles destroyed? Hell, they even captured some of our new drones.

Ambassador Stevens has more regrets.

Many, many years ago I worked with a guy who served in Vietnam. He said it was the best time of his life. He was a lifeguard. All he had to do was work on his tan. When the Cong was near he got the order to drain the pool and hand grenade it so it wouldn't be a health hazard in enemy hands. It made him sad. Everytime I hear one of the evac stories I think of him.

I was not surprised about this when Trump made announcement on troop withdrawal deadline. I knew this was going to end badly.

Taliban cannot be trusted to keep their word. why would they to someone who they consider an "infidel"?

the fucking generals never ran the war properly.

Just like the KKK ... you all want to point at Republicans when all this time it was YOUR GROUP who was discriminating against minorities.

It works on a few of the opposition, but you haven't torn down memories only burned books and destroyed statues trying to hide the FACTS.

It's also true that the payback for that support was Kamala Harris (or another person of color) getting picked to be number 2 on the ticket. Your hero the Trumpster lost the election by 7 million votes because he MISMANAGED a pandemic. You can't put that on Clyburn. Sleepy Joe is doing a wonderful job. We have been there (AG) 20 years. It's time come home.

1. Stock market is up.

2. 140 million plus have been vaccinated

3. Mitch "the turtle" McConnell and some other Senate republicans ageed to an infrastucture deal with sleepy Joe.

4. Last but not least, Gadfly's friends in Michigan got their $1400 stimulus check on time. Which is what Trump wanted before he got voted out.

Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, and Turkey. Same same. But that's got nothing to do with whether Islam as a whole divides the entire world into two houses... the house of Islam (Submission) and the house of War (Dar al-harb) The later is simply the part of humanity that has not yet been subjugated by the house of submission.

Yes it does. And if you had read the Quran and understood it, you'd understand the term abrogation. See the Quran is essentially the opposite of the Bible. the New Testament in many ways supercedes the Old Testament. Rather than animal sacrifice and a host of other activities, the way to get to Heaven is through belief in Jesus who instructs His followers to treat others as they wish to be treated.

When you understand abrogation, you will understand that the early parts of the Quran where Momo advocated peace with Jews and Christians when they were a powerless minority were abrogated by later verses in the Quran when Islam had become a powerful force in the region that advocates killing the Jews wherever you find them, lying in an effort to spread the faith, and generally slaughtering people to obtain submission.

I guess all those Imams need to study harder... because even killing another Muslim is okay... because they just get to go to Paradise that much sooner.

You can study the Quran for years but until you're studying it in Arabic, you're just reading interpretations... much like the KJV of the Bible vs. the Aramaic of the original. The primary difference is that the Bible explicitly states that it is separate from the State... render unto Caesar and all that... Islam is both a way to live and govern.

1.8 Billion Hajjis you say?.... hmmm let's say .05% interpret Wahhabist Islamic tradition... that's 900,000 Moslems who think you are a mortal enemy and deserve death. In Iraq estimates are that we were fighting no more than about 20K hard core Islamic fundamentalists....

See the problem?
There is no "problem". Islamophobia is not a fear of Islam or Muslims. It is rather a prejudice against Muslims simply because they are Muslim.

As I stated, there are almost 3 1/2 million Muslims in this country, almost all of whom simply want to live peaceful lives and practice their religion. This is also the case throughout the world, with a handful being terrorists. How many? That is an unknown. I find nothing to support your 5% figure, but again, no one knows. I do know that within 5 miles or so from my house we have 2 mosques yet and we have coexisted with those that attend those mosques with no problem, just as people througout this country have done the same.

There is "no problem" except for those who want to make it a problem. Islamophobia is alive and well.

Conservative estimates are at 5 %. I believe this number to be much higher!
This religion consistently spouts off death to america and death to Israel.
There are parts in the mid east but especially africa that Christians or Jews cannot go to!
The peaceful muslims turn the other cheek to this.

Trump’s New Big Lie: Afghanistan

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/...rump-biden.amp

Quote:
Obama sided with the surge faction but, 18 months later, saw that Biden had been right. He backpedaled on the surge, abandoned the nation building, scaled back the troop levels to 5,800, and limited their missions to training and supporting the Afghan military while also countering terrorists along the Pakistani border.

Ten years later, entering the White House as president, Biden understandingly retained a certain allergy to all matters Afghan.
