Interestingly enough as a provider without an anti-minority policy of any kind it seems a little rare to get requests from black men (10% of my clientele at best). These why no NBA threads pop up so much it's not funny....in the end for one lady that won't see you 3 will.
Also since the OP is in his late 20's he's gonna be SOL with a lot of providers as i've noticed many don't see clients that young no matter what race he is.

Why would you expect more then 10% black? Blacks are only 13 % of the population and blacks as a rule have less money then whites so I would think it makes sense that less then 13% of the hobby world is black. This is why to alot of providers when they consider everything its a small reward big risk practice..You don't lose much by not seeing blacks. You might also gain more non black customers who don't want to see providers who see black men. I personally know guys who think like that.

I am gojng to add something that might be upsetting. Some peopls are still racist, or severely prejuduce, which could explain nba policies. You may not change those few, and they are shallow.

Is it ok to call black or should it be colored,or of color (or whatever bbg was talking about) or African American? I jw? *I don't mind being called white, I think that may be different amongst other races?
