How does one prove that NE approved the deflated balls and then it helped them win the game or have an unfair advantage?

Proof? The fact that they were given balls that were properly inflated and somehow over the course of the next few hours balls in their care lost 2 PSI. But didn't magically happen. The equipment manager is responsible for the balls and is not going to unilaterally deflate them. The league needs to suspend the equipment manager and Tom Brady 6 games next season. In addition fine the patriots $1 million and they lose their 1st and 2nd round pics

The final score of the game has absolutely nothing to do with it. The score could have been 100 - 0 or 28-27 , it doesn't change the fact of what cheating is. Major League Baseball has had several incidents of equipment altering in the past.
Pitchers doctoring baseballs and then they were suspended for it , hitters altering bats. When Sammy Sosa broke his bat several years ago and cork came flying out of it did Major League Baseball say , "well his team won the game by 10 runs so it's not cheating.
Of course not.

the Patriots may be cheaters, but the Seahawks are dumb fuckers.. throwing a pass from the fucking one yard line? what the Hell? then fighting like spoiled children at the end, 18 seconds left.. Seattle deserved to lose.. and Marchand Lynch and his teammates are Jackasses... so there..

That might have been the absolute dumbest play call I've ever seen.

Yes, they were, T C. And so were the Iggles....the Saints.....the Bungles.....the Lions (who've never been played in a Super Bowl)....the Browns (ie: see the Lions).....the Chefs....the Jets.....etc, etc, etc.......but nuff sed on that.

Anyways......Congrats go out to New England fans and their beloved Patriots....job well done. I'm sure everyone in the Boston, Mass area has a little extra pep to their step today. Aside from the 2 picks he threw, Brady was nothing short of brilliant last night; especially in that 4th quarter.

Once the ticker tape parades are over, Roger Goodell will come out and deliver his verdict (and penalties?) if any on the alleged deflated football issue. Now that the Pats are the newly crowned four-time World Champs, odds are this will all be swept under the rug and be done with in short order. It's beginning to sound like this was once again Much Ado about Nothing.

Most of the NFC playoff teams were an anomaly this year: Detroit v. Dallas, the pass interference call that wasn't, Dallas v. Green Bay, the catch that wasn't, Green Bay v. Seattle, the fake field goal and onside kick that got the special teams coach of Green Bay relieved of his duties and then the dumbest play ever in SB history at the end. Those teams will have a tough off season thinking what might have been so it remains to be seen if those plays will be a detriment or help the teams to be stronger next season.

Billions......?

Does anyone really know how much in wagered bets Vegas took for this game? That number seems a little out of kilter but maybe I'm not privy to the gambling habits of those who are inclined to do so.....BILLIONS just sounds like a lotta cash especially loaded up on one team.

I mean, we're not talkin' a Baltimore-NY Jets Super Bowl here, are we (and the Jets were 17 1/2 dog if I recall.....)?
