What's a Helmet?

Just to an idea.. Meet at Strokers...then Ride to Stephenville to the Hard-8 for lunch.. then Dublin for a DR Pepper Float.. Then Back to Strokers for a beer...round trip about 5 hours.. make it 6 or 7 if ya go for the Float...

Stroker's would be a great meet and greet then on to others, Underground Icehouse in Ft. Worth, Duke's in Addision, Hog's and Hot Rods in Arlington, Wilhite's in Grapevine, many other places I don't remember all the names.

But I digress, BobRoberts brought this up, let him feel everyone out and decide when and where.

I belong to a national group who ride touring bikes some very long distances.

On our site we have a calendar of weekly "RTE" (Ride To Eat) events all over the country. The key criteria is the restaurant where we ride to must have excellent pie or the attendance will almost always be lower.
Now Im just thinking, Ride To Eat, Pie....... or vice versa.......

yes Raven, I had back surgery last summer, so didn't get back on the bike till November and only then just did the short ride to Strokers. couple years ago Hot rods and hogs was good for girl watching but the icehouse wasn't much at all except a stop for beer. Kinda like the East texas choppers in Terrell. never pulled in the biker business like he thought it would.

Here's a couple spots for you that's north of Dallas. Makes a pretty good round trip too.

Big Slicks in Westminster (hwy 78 & 121 area)
Loose Wheels in Denison (just off hwy 75)


They are biker friendly.
