Listening to a conversation makes it easier. In Chinese MA is used at the end of a question. ,Korean is KA, and in Japanese it is mostly DESKA.

In Thai KAA for female and KRAP for males is used as a politeness term and a different intonation of words.

It’s hard to tell in the Spa. But it’s pretty apparent when you date a few. Culturally they’re quite different and present different issues as such. It’s Thai for me. Most think all the spa girls are Korean, but there’re a few that are actually Chinese fluent in Korean. One legend had me fooled for a long time.

I've rarely seen anyone on this board who can correctly identify a Japanese girl even though some of the girls like to claim they are Japanese.

Asian girls ages are also notoriously difficult to judge.

You are not alone in not seeing the subtle differences.
