Sorry to read about your loss Bair. Losing your best friend sucks!
I believe all the four legged friends we've lost are at the bridge waiting for us to join them.
It's kind of dumb, but it always helped me when I lost a friend.

Having been there twice in my life (my ex actually had my Aussie put to sleep - now that is evil), the only cure is a new puppy. Drinking, chasing and catching tail, over-working, etc., simply won't fill the void. Only a new puppy chewing up your Allen Edmonds wing-tips will ease the wound.
