Pelosi has zero part in this. Doesn't matter what she said to her daughter. President in DC has to give the order to National Guard. Yes it would have taken a while to mobilize and trumps order for his dumbfuck traitors to go home ended it.
I watched the recording in her car leaving, yes she did say she takes full responsibility, but she had none. She felt like she should have done something. But reality is she couldn't have done anything. It was Trumps pathetic attempt to stay in power by any means he could.

Well, you are gonna have to point out specifically where that law is at. Ol' googly sez otherwise:
"The President of the United States is the commander-in-chief of the District of Columbia National Guard. Command is exercised through the secretary of defense and the commanding general, Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), District of Columbia National Guard."
But this ain't about Jan 6.
As I said, let the orange man-baby have fun playing toy soldier. BUT only let him do so within the limits of the law. And that states for ~30 days. And only in DC.

He calls out the National Guard now...why ? What was going on ?
Leave it to you to review Trump's actions.

Oh, you know how the maggies hold hypocrisy close to their heart. Almost as close as the melange one hugs a flag like a facist (sp)

Old Nancy trying to order the NG in DC around is like the 'Bama coach being allowed to call plays for the Aggies.
Not in their realm or scope of power.

For the umpteenth time, the law is called the Home Rule Act of 1973. This gave DC a real mayor, a real city council, and control of their own destiny. Section 740 gives the president the authority to come in if the elected officials neglect their duties. He has 30 days to fix things unless the House extends that time limit.
Like the Posse Comitatus Act prohibits a president for coming in with federal troops except when the state (or governor) is in rebellion. The unconstitutional guy Trump obeyed the law and constitution in 2021. He allowed the mayor, the speaker, and the sergeant at arms to call the shots.
Now, Trump is following the law again.
You may squeal like a pig if you like but it is all legal...and necessary.

You have several things incorrect here.
Since you don't want to learn, leave it at that.

DC is a city and a federal district all encompassing the same area. There were no "shots" called jan 6, there wasn't time. There is a process where the Mayor, Speaker and Sergeants at Arms can be involved, and some are part of the Capitol Police Board that can issue the request. But ultimately the President makes the call.
This is how Trump is using the NG now, he made the call, the Mayor doesn't like it, but ultimately it is Trumps call.

President Trump wants Washington DC, our Nations Capitol, to be a safe and secure location for all Americans to be proud of, visit, and enjoy our National Heritage without fear of being robbed, beaten, car jacked, or murdered.
Why is that not a issue worthy of 100% bi partisan support.

If that were really the case, why are troops walking the national mall and Georgetown, rather than Southeast, where most of the crime occurs. Or better yet, instead of taking more money from DC, which he did, he could surge money for hiring more DC police, which would be a long term solution rather than just a performative one.
I am all for making DC safer (even though per Trump in May violent crimes in DC were down 25%) in ways that will make it last rather than ways that are just for show and ineffective.

He wants to poke the bear. Create a controversy. Arrest a few protesters. This has nothing to do with making DC safer.

Oh, I think he learned. He just doesn't want to accept the reality of many vetted sources that say ol' Nancy did not make that claim, the military said they never got a request.
Seeing how you and others have found and noted such sources, *I* will just assume the doubter is pulling a maggie move by hoping that repeatedly saying a lie will make it the truth.

I don't do the ignore button. But I have a morbid curiosity on how much this troll can gorge himself.
