But his comments were ordinary complaints about politicians, and he didn’t express extreme views, Carlson said. He said Boelter supported President Donald Trump and had voted for him. He said Boelter would be offended if someone called him a Democrat.

Records show Boelter registered to vote as a Republican while living in Oklahoma in 2004 before moving to Minnesota where voters don’t list party affiliation.
