Even though alcoholic beverages are intoxicating, I wouldn't say they are poisonous. I'm surprised no one has mentioned srychnine or arsenic. Very interesting.

Footlong, it's been my experience coordinate with the provider before heading out. A half-pint of something or other is enough for three or four drinks, plenty to get things flowing.
