Well now I'm torn between wanting to pay the cheaper rate and applying for the influencer position...


The way I see it, the $20 rate hike came about as the amps reopened after the covid shutdowns. This hike was consistent with the trends we see with the independents. With that being said, I'd love for prices to go down, but who wouldn't? Same goes for cheeseburgers, gas and property taxes...

Your poll is invalid cause who in there right mind would chose to pay more when you could pay less, poll should probably be about if paying the extra $20 is stopping you from going to the spa or it doesn’t matter paying extra . Either way the extra 20 for me makes me less likely to go the full hour cause I can save $60 bucks for something else, but now if the rate was going for $200 for a hour I would sure do the hour and pay extra

While I don’t believe the $20 is going to a promotor’s pockets, the problem is not going from $200 to $220. The problem is when they decide that was easy enough, let’s go to $240 and then $260 etc.

Lots of businesses are adding a covid surcharge in some way. However, it is usually based on the reality of increased expenses and will go away after covid. $20 additional dollars is not grounded in reality of their increased expenses and it isn’t going away.

i dont think it fits his agenda tho...lol...it sounds to me like hes also a "influencer" but he didnt get the job and now wants to get the amps to fire him so they can hire him 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, if I'm going to an amp, I bring $200, $60 for house and $140 for the tip. They can make the house fee higher, but then that's coming out of the tip.

She can bitch and moan she wants more, but I'm either getting what I want for the $140, or she can continue to massage me for the rest of the hour for $20.

I have yet to meet a gal who picks the $20 over the $140. They get mad, but they still take the $140.
