Who knows? Never seen it happen

Wouldn't be a bad idea though if it happens. A public apology to the provider, if sincere, may go a long way in healing what would likely be a fragile relationship.

I'd guess a guy missing an appointment is much more rare though. Obviously there are men that chicken out. The ones that are set on seeing a provider are likely to follow through. Men will go out of their way for a little lovin! I'm sure some of you would skip your mother's funeral if the right tail came along.

In my opinion, Its all COG's fault! lol

But, it appears you have handled the situation far better than anyone else ever has, very professional. There is no better way than being up front and honest that totally diffuses any thing negative the other party might say.

Also, I apologize for not making time to see you! Its all my fault. Can I make it up to ya? :-)

And some people can never be happy.

I don't think offering extra time or free services is necessary, but if it turns him into a loyal client, then yes. After all, how many hobbyists have offered to compensate you for a ns/nc? Some, maybe, but not many, I'd wager.

Otherwise, just make your best effort to explain to him what happened. If he doesn't return, then so be it, and move on to bigger and better things. My philosophy is that business people should be looking forward, not backward (except to learn from your mistakes).

If he is interested in returning, find out what he would like as a show of remorse (and his likelihood of becoming a repeat client), so that you can use that info to evaluate from a business perspective whether it's worth it.

As for damage control within this group, you've made the right move here. I always respect someone who owns their mistakes. A show of character.

Well handled SillyGirl!

Good suggestions on various "make-good" offers. However I would guess the two of you could come up with your own.

But again, need to tip my hat to SillyGirl

Dammit Cobra, I was going to volunteer to stand in for the make-up date but you kinda beat me to it. Doh!

I'll still do it tho.
