Especially my man Sis. He is a lyrical gangster, not a comedian. Ans is a Southern Belle, funny is not in their job descrip

I actually don't think price corresponds even to education though. Of course, being picky as hell, this may simply reflect my own selection biases. If there's a lady out there charging $250 with a PhD in astrophysics -- I'll find her; and she'll skew my dataset so that every provider I see at practically any price point is a genius or nearly so.
You may be right about social class; but I'm not especially class conscious so I wouldn't be able to assess that except in extreme cases.
Which reminds me of an anecdote I bet you'll appreciate. I'll call it "How I learned that I had better check out a lady's pictures in advance."
I never used to look at a lady's pictures before booking. There were a whole bunch of reasons, but being male and visually oriented, I figured it would remove a source of bias so I could make better decisions. I also often skip reading reviews because I have a lot of confidence in my own assessments. Not only that, I don't like to prejudice myself. I want a lady working with as much of a clean slate as possible.
About a year ago I booked an HDH. Super smart, funny, great character -- just what the doctor ordered. I never looked at her pics or reviews; but had merely read her "about me" page and booking details as well as some of her board posts.
Well, I get to her place and she opens the door, and I have to admit that for once I was utterly flabbergasted -- which is a rare thing. Interestingly, another provider friend had sort of told me in advance, but I had brushed it off as exaggeration. The girl was breathtakingly beautiful like you dream about. I'm thinking to myself "THIS is the genius girl? You've GOT to be shitting me!" But it was her alright. You could've knocked me over with a feather. I had expected pretty or even beautiful. But this girl transcended that.
Guys can often forget their own names when in the presence of seriously pretty women for the first time; but that generally doesn't affect me. And if I am sort of anticipating it, there's a little mental trick I can pull to completely counteract it. But I was caught completely by surprise. It must have been hilarious to observe me picking my jaw up off the floor.
Ever since, I look at pictures. Just so I'm not caught off guard. LOL

Oh gosh, you are so right. Price really isn't an indicator of education, and I presented a faulty argument yesterday. I guess I was just thinking back on my undergrad "Schools & Society" course work. We learned that in general there tends to be a relationship between money and education, because those with money (or access to loans) have a greater chance at education. For example, someone of the "lower" socioeconomic class generally doesn't have $2000 for a private Kaplan tutor and $250 for the required GMAT exam let alone tuition like someone with money (or access to loans), especially when we are talking about more expensive colleges (i.e. ivy league) as there are limited scholarships available in general. With that said, you are completely right, NONE of this really has anything to do with escort rates. There are many factors (e.g. how much market is willing to spend, a provider's individual financial obligations - children, etc.) that dictate a providers rates or how much volume and money she needs to bring in. And personally, when I started a couple of years ago, I had a bachelors degree, but my rates were lower. And I'm currently working on my masters while I'm certain some HDHs with higher rates than me don't have a masters let alone a bachelors degree (though they may market themselves as such). So you certainly make an excellent point.
Further, rates don't indicate how much money a companion has to spend on education (or clothes, extravagant jewelry, spas, cruises, etc) in the first place. There are some providers with lower rates who make more money than companions with higher rates. Given this fact, the escort with lower rates could quite possibly obtain an education before a provider with higher rates.
So the only thing high escort rates mean is the lady has higher escort rates and that she is willing to wait out any down time (and be ultra low volume) due to her not being accessible to the masses.
And well, social class (culture) is a whole other topic.
Well, great discussion. Thanks for the compliment. I try to use my brain often. And also, I appreciate the discourse because you got me thinking.
Xo.
PS. I agree that there are some extraordinary beautiful companions out there.
PPS. Please excuse any grammar or spelling errors. I simply don't have enough time to proof this post.

This is very interesting topic. I was born and raised in place formerly known as USSR.
Now, we all know it was an Evil Empire etc etc etc
However, my parents had the following going for them :
1) Guaranteed basic shelter
2) Guaranteed high school education and access to FREE college education
3) Guaranteed basic employment
Does it mean that everyone went to college and was from same social class? Absolutely not! There was very distinct class separation, very similar to british in some ways with exception of opportunity to "switch" classes. My family represents such switch. Grandparents were not college educated blue collar workers. Parents on another hand both went to colleges and joined the elusive "russian intelligentsia" class. Unlike in USA, being college professors in russia meant you were financially worse off then someone working at the factory. Yet, in my family it has never been a question whether or not i would go to college. It was not even subject to debates.
Another unique factor was that since everyone had a job and income rarely varied, people chose profession based on their personal preferences, and not financial reward of education.
So someone's education level was dependant on their family upbringing and personal perseverance, not amount of money their family had.
Lina
PS also did not have time to proofread...plus angliski is not my first language
