Honesty in Advertising?

I was hoping this thread would just die, but since it hasn't let me just say this. The money paid was well spent because I learned a good lesson. I did not do my homework.

Lesson learned #1 - No picture means 'your not not going to like what what you see'.

Lesson #2 - Don't be afraid to tell the provider the type of girl your looking for.

Lesson #3 - If you don't like what you see when you meet, just say no thank you.

I love all women, large, small, tall, short, old, young, red, white, black, blue. But sometimes you want something specific. Ladies more info is better.

Shaggy...to address your main question...no, I don't think it's "ethical" to post an ad with 5-10yr old pics, major airbrushing, or pics taken only at flattering angles.

I'm not sure if you were addressing this post toward ECCIE veriifed providers only...but, hobbysts go to BP/CL all the time and take major risks. And, by what I read...a whole lot of the ads are major fakes.

As for your lessons...I have to disagree with you on your lesson #1. Not every provider, who doesn't post pictures, is trying to be deceitful. I've never had any real pictures...but, it's not because I'm fugly, or over/under weight and worried about showing pics...but, more for my security...as is true for many UTR providers. Take Melina as an example...she never posts any pics...but, I can tell you...she's not hiding pics because she's afraid that you're not going to "like what you see" trust me!

I think when someone posts a review and description...it's what they actually see in their mind...and everyone's idea of beauty and sensuality is different...our expectations are all different. Of course, there are those few bad apples, that "bend" the truth, to give a provider a good review. Those types of reviews eventually get called out...and provider/hobbyist reputations become less than desireable.

The same thing happens when I ask a provider for a reference. I always ask to verify the hobbyist's description...and about their demeanor and hygiene. I have come to find that my definition of attractive, clean, and good hygiene, is WAY different than some other providers. That doesn't mean "my" idea is correct or that the other providers are wrong. It boils down to differences in taste and expectations...and only you know what you want. So, at the end of the day...it's your task to do your homework...as you said. Good-luck!

It is totally important to be honest and accurate. Apparently many out of shape and/or overweight providers don't see themselves this way when describing themselves, their measurements and weights. BBW applies more times than not but you only discover this at the door.

i think MOST of them represent they are younger
i think MANY represent they are smaller/taller.
i think FEW look better in person

if that was MY only complaint...I probably would not have gave a negative review...i would however, state i thought they were more of a BBW, or bigger than what i was expecting. You can write them anyway you like.

I am used to the pic fantasy from online dating...and its exactly the same. Ppl putting thier best old pics up to try and sell themselves. It got old so i gave up the online thing. I dont know how they do it... i would hate to know...that whatever pics i put up, would only let someone down when they saw me. Id rather put some shitty pics up so when they saw me, they were like...'damn!'

anyway, as far as hobby goes...i try to avoid girls that look even a little big...or im not crazy about their pics...

lol...and when you 'want somthing specific'...you should at least see a pic!
