I have too many favorite movies so here's a few that I like
1. Dr. Detroit - One of Dans' most humorous roles.
2. Ghostbusters - Gotta love it...I'm an 80's boy.
3. Robocop - ED209...YOU HAVE 30
SECONDS TO COMPLY
4. Roadhouse - Swayze ATF movie
5. Dune (Dino de laurentis)- every time I see it, I see something new

Speaking of Denzel reminded me of a movie I forgot to list that I have seen many times. I forgot to add A Soldiers Story to my list.

If anybody ever wants a lesson on acting, just watch this movie, more importantly watch Adolph Caesar as Sgt. Waters. He was absolutely brilliant as the crusty old sergeant. How he lost the Oscar to the guy in the movie The Killing Fields (Haing S. Ngor) is beyond me.

Eamonn Walker stole Cadillac Records right under from Beyonce and Jeff Wright. His Howlin Wolf was brilliant.

I have never and I mean never seen a bad Denzel movie. Some people really do have some serious class. People I look up to that have a lot of recognition are like him.

Denzel Washington
George Strait
Nolan Ryan

I agree A Soldier's Story is one of the best along with Glory

I like Shawshank Redemption, Sweet Home Alabama, Lonesome Dove, Rio Bravo There are so many more.

I just saw Whip It the other night. Cheapy movie, put pretty good. It kind of reminds me of another girls athletic movie called Stick It, which I really enjoyed. Ellen Page just has something that I like. I rented another movie of hers that I saw a year or two ago called Hard Candy where she plays a psycho bitch from hell.
Last night I saw Lifeguard, a movie that was kind of a coming of age movie made in the mid 70's. The movie was really good as was the acting and the music. Kathleen Quinlan played a very vulnerable 17 year old girl and was outstanding. Sam Elliot made this his break out role, as did Quinlan. I also loved the storyline where a guy says to hell with what everybody expects him to do, and he ends up giving up a lot to do his own thing. At the end of the movie, I felt that Elliot played a defiant, yet vulnerable role. This is a really good movie that a lot of people don't really know about.

One dude I think people sleep on in movies is Jeffrey Wright. That dude kills it everytime I've seen him in something. Even that weird as character he played in Basquiat. Anytime an actor can go from playing Martin Luther King to "Peoples" in Shaft, he's a bad mofo.

Jeffrey was very good in Cadillac Records, but as I mentioned before, I thought that Eamonn Walker stole the movie with his Howlin Wolf.

My favorite scene with both Jeffrey and Eamonn.
