Well, that's a pretty broad question 
 
First, remember this is still the world's oldest profession & we aren't in any danger of that changing anytime soon
 
That said a couple of themes  (in all cases I'm generalizing):
 
*We are still in the midst of a recession.  NYC in particular has been hit hard.  Some "banker hobbyists" now actually have budgets

 (or in the case of client entertainment no longer have budgets for this kind of thing

)
 
*More touring gals (nationwide) seem to be reporting poorer than anticipated results.  Some are even backing away from tours.
 
*In general it seems there is an overall downward pressure on pricing in the "advertised" market.  That isn't to say some largely UTR gals with regulars aren't doing quite well.
 
*The ad content in general seems to have gotten quite brazen with much more discussion of specific acts or "menu items," yet another symptom of a very competitive market.
