I think Nadia Lucky is the winner. Ans seems to be deleted more often for her playful pointing of others infractions and that is a shame because Ansley is pretty and witty, the other prolific.

I do understand Ans was being funny with it and no problem there but I felt it had to go away. There was another poster who quoted the pic that had to be gone as well simply cos the post was that picture.
When deciding on things here sometimes it may look not so right but usually it is the right thing.

Qualities of a mod hmm Patience, learning peoples idiosynchrises(prob spelled that wrong) timing, and investigative powers. When the board is screaming at you "why arent you doing something about such and such", just know there are probably 15 other fires going on as well throw in the real fact that we are as mods waiting on people to respond. More often than you think one side of a hissy fit doesnt even bother to acknowledge a inquiry to a particular situation hence a delay. At the same time you cant wait forever for someone to respond either. So to a lot of members its damned if you do damned if you dont....

Very good points, there St. Mateo. . .

One of the things I like best about this board is that most of the mods will take the time to put notes in brackets to explain or instruct as they take action on a given post. It helps clarify and explain, but more importantly it serves to help others better understand the rules and perhaps not make the same mistake. I hope more mods will continue to make this a regular practice. Sure it takes a bit of time, and can be tedious, but I think it may help offset needing to explain later when folks get their feathers ruffled, and maybe even save a repeated practice of the infraction. In my mind, if a mod goes to the trouble to take corrective action and explain it in the thread it should serve as a warning. If some nitwit repeats the same offense or mistake a few posts down, they should not expect mitigation.
