ATTABOY! Play the race card!
If someone opposes Obama, he must be a patriarchal type that doesn't like blacks.
If I opposed Bill Clinton because I thought he was too liberal, well that was just regular left-right politics, right? But if I opposed Obama because I thought he was too liberal, now it's racism - is that how it works?
And the fact that I preferred Colin Powell to John McCain in 2008 changes nothing, right? Because Powell wasn't a "real" black man, right? Because real blacks support the liberal agenda and vote Democrat, right?

No. Nancy Pelosi does not make me afraid - never has.
She make me nauseous. There's a difference.

I guess after you burnish your liberal credentials by playing the race card, the "progressive" crowd let's you get away with a little gay-baiting, is that how it works? Like, if you play the race card one time, you get a kitchen pass for one free homophobic comment?

Um, I'm not sure that sentence makes sense.
By asking "Can you imagine a Democratic congresswoman with the same type of following NOT being in the House leadership...?" are you implying such a Dem woman WOULD be in the House leadership?
