				 Eros pop-ups

Today, whenever any category is opened, an Eros page is also activated. A royal pain in the ass. Is this Eccie's way of upping the click through revenue?
If it's a setting I can change, tell me how. Otherwise, please fix it.
 Thank you

I recommend pop up blockers. They work well for me.

I was getting this once a day when I first logged in, but yesterday I got it about 4 times in a row, every time I clicked on a link within the site. And then today... NADA. Haven't seen it once.
Here is an "official" answer from Site Administration, but this is copied from an area accessible to Staff only. This is not the entire post, as it was intended for Staff. But we have been told we can repeat this info, so here goes:

"The popup window, like the banners and tabs and text links, is an advertising campaign.....

If you're not logged in, and browsing as a guest, you WILL get the popup when you visit ECCIE and then click on a forum. Simply close it and it won't come up again, for 24 hours.

If you're logged in to your account, you might get the popup when you first log in , but you shouldn't see it anymore.

The problem exists with those who have programs that block cookies or clear cookies when they close their browser or in time increments, like every 5 minutes or something like that. Those people may repeatedly get the popup because it recognizes that there's no cookie and sends the popup.

The majority of people who stay logged into the site should not have a major problem with this popup. "

Just got a bunch (6) of these annoying popups right now, then they stopped.
Figured they were a site advertising campaign. A lot of porn sites use these annoying pop-ups only they are non-stop.
