I called them porn stars because that is what they are. That is what they chose to be. I make no value judgments on their choice of career. In Jenna's case, I appreciate her work. That doesn't mean I have to take her political views seriously.

Paul Krugman is a Nobel Laureate economist. I don't take his views seriously either. And I don't appreciate his work. In fact, I think that Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson are in a more noble, and honest profession than Krugman. But take their opinions for what they are. They are no more valid than yours, mine, or anyone else's.

I just think it's funny that straight-laced Mormon Romney is getting support from the porn industry. Next thing you know, the Chairman of Folgers will endorse him.

Actually, Obama has continued most of Bush's policies. The tax cuts are still there, the wars are on Bush's schedule. What has Obama done that is different from what Bush would have done?

I don't think Bush would have gotten involved in the Libyan fiasco or the now developing Syrian fiasco.

That's right. There is no difference between a Republican or a Democratic term any more.

One of the GOPs mouthpieces, McCain, claims we're not doing enough. I guess if McCain would've been president we'd already have 100,000 troops deployed in Syria.

And Romney knows full well that Republican initiated wars always lead to improved job approval ratings. At least in the near term.

no, its a question if this action would benefit him (in other words, what's in it for him to do this?) Besides, Bush was the one who began the normalisation process with Quackdaffi.

Realpolitick would have entered the equation. Obama is doing something else entirely which is not pragmatic thinking.

That's funny, if McCain was president and doing what his leaders tell him to do, just like Obama, all the conservatives and the GOP would be justifying all of his actions. You all know I'm no Obama fan, but the reality is those that are party loyalists support their party even if they're screwing up.

Let's remember how many times the GOP (with the support of the Democrats) increased the debt ceiling for Bush? I don't remember a tea party or all the conservatives complaining then.
