The wording with using a 2X4 is an old yarn.
It's like a guy would have to have a 2X4 to keep from falling in. As in, "She's so cavernous down there I needed a 2X4".
Not a very nice comment to say about anyone in polite company. But I guess that we're often not polite!

I have a very difficult time seeing someone I have zero resoect or sympathy for, so no way. this is exactly the kind of person whose gross irresponsibility (to 14 kids and to society as a whole) results in society bashing people who DO legitimately need help through little fault of her own.
What a shock: mom goes bankrupt trying to take care of 14 kids! No one saw that coming. If I tried to have sex with her I wouldn't be able to get the loathing out of my mind.
