The Prime Directive

Ok I admit it. I'm a Star Trek fan or as some would call it Trekki or Trekker. Tomato tomato whatever.

But something was said here in an earlier thread that got me to thinking. (Yes I know thats a dangerous prospect but fucking deal with it bitches) LOL

So if you are a Trek fan you then know what the Prime Directive is. Question is this: How would one define the prime directive as a hobby question?

I get the "No one talks about fight club" argument. But is there a 1,2,3 of unwritten laws that should be laid down for the novice initiate to follow? And how would one write them?

I certainly am no roadmap to success on this but I would welcome the input of others here. As much for the laugh as anything else but in seriousness just what is the code under which we pledge our undying loyalty too and how should that code be presented to the initiates on both sides of the isle?

I welcome the ensuing debate!
